The Benefits of Trusting God

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (KJV)    As stated in the previous post, trusting in God is not always easy. For some of us it is the most difficult thing to do. We try to control the circumstances, problems, and people around us. Our natural inclination is to fix everything when something goes wrong, which is not always a bad thing. Yet, what about the situations we cannot fix or get under control? What do we do then? Sometimes it feels as if there is no way out or as soon as one obstacle is overcome another arises. How are we suppose to handle trials and tribulations when it is over our heads? As the book of Proverbs declares, trust in God. Acknowledge Him and He will direct our path. God is a sovereign God. Everything that happens to us, He already knows about and has the solution.
