Trust

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (KJV)    Trusting in God can be one of the hardest things sometimes. Yet, that is what we are called to do. It is a key aspect of faith. There are times when circumstances may cause us to question everything we know about God. Other times, it may cause us to ask when, why, or how long? We may feel alone or restless. It may even seem as if God does not care but He really does. I have realized in such challenging moments is when the Lord is close to us more than ever. All we have to do is take our eyes off the chaos around us and look to Him. His Word says, He will never leave us nor forsake us.    God never fails. We may not always understand everything we experience but God knows it is for our good. His ways are better and higher. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Life is not always perfect.
